About the festival

Having been around for only one year, SPIRIT of Burgas is already in the top ten best summer festivals in Europe! What is it about the festival that makes it stand out in the overly saturated with festivals European summer?

Come out and see for yourself this unique music event on the beach! While enjoying some of the top artists from around the world, your sole companions could be the moonlight, the starry sky and thousands of smiling faces who gathered in Burgas from all parts of Europe to spend three unforgettable nights.

This year the festival crew will be expecting you on the 14th, 15th and 16th at the same place as last year’s – on the beach of the beautiful city of Burgas located on the Black Sea coast. Located on the Black Sea, Burgas is the fourth biggest city in Bulgaria with 250 000 citizens. During the summer season the city doubles to almost 500 000 people. The friendly atmosphere in the city motivated the organizators and the municipality to make one big event and give the summer residents an experience of a lifetime. SPIRIT of Burgas takes place under the auspices of the Mayor of the Burgas municipality – Mr. Dimitar Nikolov.

This year SPIRIT of Burgas will offer you a total of seven stages! You will see live performances of rock, reggae, ska, jazz, blues, hardcore, punk, ethno music, trance, techno, drum and bass. Our goal is for you to have three unforgettable days on the beach with music, many stages, comfortable camping, healthy seafood and icy cocktails. And if you get weary by any chance, lie down on the warm sand and look up to the starry sky to recharge.
